Josephine studied Dutch Language and Literature at Leiden University, has a Master’s degree in mediaeval studies and an upper secondary teaching qualification. She worked as a teacher in the Dutch secondary curriculum until 1997, when she switched over to the IB-educational system. She founded IBID in 2000. Josephine worked as IB Dutch teacher and SSST supervisor at UWCSEA (United World College of South East Asia) in Singapore, ZIS (Zürich International School) and AICS (Amsterdam International Community School). She is also an IBDP workshop leader for ‘IB Language A: Literature’ and an experienced counsellor for IB Dutch teachers abroad.
Josephine is IBID’s managing director, and she has the final responsibility for all programs offered by IBID. She is also a teacher.
