He taught Dutch for 21 years at the Free Technical Institute (VTI) in Ypres and contributed to the development of three Dutch teaching methods for secondary education in Flanders.<br \/>\nIn 2014, Pieter moved to Frankfurt and became an IB teacher of Dutch at the Frankfurt International School (FIS, grades 6-10) and a secondary school teacher at the Stichting Nederlands Onderwijs Frankfurt (SNOF).
