Suzanne van der Schot

Studied Dutch Language and Literature at the University of Amsterdam with Historical Literature as her main subject. After her Master’s degree she acquired an upper secondary Teaching Qualification. Suzanne worked for over ten years as a Dutch teacher and coordinator of language policy at various secondary schools in Amsterdam. She went on to become an IB Dutch teacher at Frankfurt International School. Between 2014 and 2016 Suzanne taught IB English at Jumeira Baccalaureate School in Dubai and was coordinator of the IBDP self-taught programme. Since August 2016 she works as an IB English teacher at Qatar Academy Doha.

Annelies de Reus

Teacher pre-IBDP & SSST

Annelies holds a Master’s degree Dutch at Leiden University and an upper secondary teaching qualification. She majored in historical linguistics and dialectology, and completed the minors Second Language Acquisition and Children’s Literature. She worked as a Dutch teacher for over twenty years at various international schools in Germany and Switzerland. Here she gained extensive experience in tutoring IB students and developing the curriculum for the pre-IBDP and IBDP programmes. As of March 2018, Annelies works as IB Dutch teacher at Amsterdam International Community School.
